Reduced baby movement in the past couple of days, why?
I’m 27 + 3 weeks pregnant and my baby’s movements have been a lot less over the past couple of days, she is still moving but not nearly as much. Before Wednesday she was moving A LOT and gave BIG kicks throughout the day but now it’s changed to very small kicks now and then. I had a fetal trace done on Wednesday as I have to have my Blood Pressure investigated at the hospital and they said that all was fine but she still isn’t moving much.
Does anyone know what the reason behind this is?
Thanks
it depends how shes laying, if he back is to the front of your belly, then she’s kicking to your back so you may not feel them as much as if she was the other way around! as long as shes still moving enough and you ahve had it checked out then everything shoudl be fine!!

less room in the womb.. your baby is growing ;D if she stops movement altogether worry but if she just does it less theres no cause for alarm. any type of movement like a hiccup, stretch, turn , kick is good no matter how hard or frequent.. if the baby is eerily still go see a doctor and get the heart rate of your baby checked but if youve already gone trust they know what theyre doing.

As long as she is moving that is the main thing. When I was having my little boy he had his days where he was very active and days when he was calm he then tended to go wild at night sometimes lol. My widwife always used to tell me as long as I felt at least 10 kicks a day not to worry (I dont know if this still stands as this was 5 years ago !)
If you truely are concerned then contact you midwife/health visitor etc and express your concerns - thats what they are there for and this might just ease your mind as it it stressfull worring if everything is ok.
Also you may find as your pregnancy progresses the movements become lesser as the room inside becomes less too!.
Good luck

It’s very early in your pregnancy. Right now all your might be feeling is fluttering, kinda like a butterfly. Don’t worry about the movement much until you are closer to the middle of your pregnancy. Just stay as healthy as you can

It really depends where she is laying as to how much you feel the kicks. You might notice that you feel kicks stronger n some places than others. this can also be to do with where you placenta is laying.
she is also running out of room in there
You will start to feel in an increase in the movements later in the last trimester, as every wriggle, kick and squirm is unable to be missed
I wouldn’t be concerned about her movement (or lack of) unless you feel less than 10 movements in 24 hours. If you do fee less than 10 movements in 24 hours, I would go to the hospital.

baby could have a sleepy period, she could of moved positions so you cant feel her as much, are you getting your minimum 10 movement and midwifes or happy with the fetal trace, then i wouldnt worry, as the baby gets bigger they have less room to move and do somersaults in your belly if your baby is head down, maybe from now on you may feel side to side movements rather then kicking,
